Dr. Len Horovitz is a nationally recognized internist and pulmonary specialist in private practice in Manhattan.  He is on staff at Lenox Hill Hospital and Weill Cornell Hospital (part of NY-Presbyterian), and he is a Clinical Instructor in Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College.  His approach is to prevent illness whenever possible by detecting and treating problems early.  

Using the latest diagnostic methods, Dr. Horovitz has achieved a very low rate of hospitalization for his patients. "There are no shortcuts to excellent patient care: it takes time, focus and commitment." 

Dr. Horovitz takes a complete medical history before performing a thorough annual physical examination (including EKG, chest X-ray, pulmonary function test, skin check, blood tests and many other diagnostics) in his Manhattan office. He conducts every test himself. Dr. Horovitz 
is board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Pulmonology. He 
graduated from
Brown University (Phi Beta Kappa and summa cum laude) and from New York University School of Medicine. He completed a Pediatric residency at Mount Sinai Hospital (NYC), followed by a residency in Internal Medicine and a sub-specialty in Pulmonary Medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital (NYC). 

Dr. Horovitz is also the Director of Carnegie Medical PC and treats professional performers at Carnegie Hall, The MET OPERA, and on Broadway. He is an author of the medical anthology, "The Singer's Guide to Complete Health" (Oxford University Press, 2013).
